FULafia VC commends prof. Amali for IPN Award


 
The Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Professor Muhammad Sanusi Liman, has commended the Institute of Planning, Nigeria (IPN) for finding Prof. Idris O.O. Amali worthy of its highest award.
 
The vice-chancellor said that there was no better academic to be conferred with the Fellowship Award of the IPN than Amali.
 
Liman, also, praised Amali, who serves both as the deputy vice-chancellor and director of academic planning of FULafia, for his exemplary leadership and managerial skills.
 
The vice-chancellor made the commendations when Professor Amali presented a plaque and certificate presented to him during an event organised by the IPN in his office at Lafia.
 
While presenting his plaque and Certificate of Fellowship of the Institute of Planning, Nigeria, the deputy vice-chancellor thanked Liman for his wisdom and foresightedness in steering the administration of the institution.
 
Amali, who as the director of academic planning, is the chief planning officer of the University, informed the vice-chancellor that the IPN recognised him for his contributions to academic planning and development in the country, in general, and FULafia, in particular.
 
Among those who attended the presentation ceremony of the fellowship certificate and plaque by Amali to Liman were the Bursar, Mr. Wilson Anjola Daniel, Director, Muhammadu Buhari Institute of Research and Training, Dr. A. S. Sadiq, and other members of staff of the University.
